Job’s Purpose
As a Junior Sourcing manager, you will be a member of the Sourcing team, who will be actively involved in all aspects of sourcing for both national and own-brands portfolio as well as numerous other projects to ensure department’s growth in profitability as well as internal and external customer satisfaction.
We are looking for an extroverted, talented person who wants to get involved in an exciting and industrious team at the buying department, to get hands on everyday back-office work and basic negotiation aspects, to collaborate with associates within the same department but also other departments across the company. A passionate professional who is results oriented, has excellent numerical skills and is willing to grow in a continuously changing and challenging environment.
What you will focus on
• Look for new suppliers, via different channels, network research, trade directories, participation in exhibitions, site visits, always aiming at the optimal category performance.
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding products that belong to the category of your responsibility, for the whole stores network, and ensure buying high quality products (national and own brands) under the best possible terms.
• Negotiate promotional activities so that you ensure maximum product category effectiveness.
• Secure privileged agreements with different suppliers when it comes to associated costs by focusing mainly on saving resources while at the same time maintaining high quality and timely delivery.
• Resolve any arising matter in the context of the agreement implementation.
Who we are looking for
• BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or any relevant field. MSc would be considered an asset.
• Working experience 2 to 4 years, in a relevant position at the FMCG sector
or product management.
• Fluency in English language, both written and spoken.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Sufficient knowledge of SAP would be considered an asset.
