The Role 

The IT  Business Analyst partners with a variety of technical and functional partners within the business to define requirements for application development, develops required documentation, and communicates status in order to ensure business requirements are met. We are looking for a talented IT professional and a technology enthusiast and dedicated to Supply Chain & Field area. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Defines detailed requirements, analyzes business needs, and validates solutions with the internal client.
  • Perform root cause analysis of problems, conduct workshops, and work closely with business users in order to identify and translate their needs into functional requirement specifications
  • Understand end-user requirements and translating them into business workflows, functional and technical specifications
  • Performs feasibility analysis, scopes project, and recommends alternative solutions, project strategy, and deliverable prioritization.
  • Serves as a liaison between technical and functional stakeholders, and project management teams, to help keep initiatives moving forward smoothly and in accordance with project plans.
  • Participates in multiple key initiatives simultaneously.
  • Communicate status to stakeholders, post documentation, and procure reviews and approvals.
  • Understand internal client requirements and how they translate into application features.
  • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
  • Perform quality assurance, track requirements through UAT testing.
  • Help design, document, and maintain system processes.
  • Highlight areas for improvement and assist business teams in developing solutions to new business functions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science
  • Experience: at least 5 years of experience in a project management role
  • Any combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience in Supply Chain IT projects will be considered a strong plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management at all levels with internal and external partners with the proven experience of developing strong relationships.
  • Experience working in a customer-centric organization, driving technology initiatives and transformation.
  • Ability to turn round difficult relationships and build trusted relationships
  • Working effectively with third-party suppliers, building good relationships but also to control them to deliver and take ownership of their issues
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
