Logistics Operations Manager

The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the warehouse including all safety, planning, analysis, and coordination activities including transportation, distribution, receiving, inventory management, logistics, supervision, and providing outstanding service to other division functions and customers. Finally, she/he will have full responsibility for the successful and on-time delivery of e-shop’s orders, a new department of the company with remarkable and ever-increasing daily orders.

The Logistics Operations Manager ensures a competitive service by maintaining optimal safety, accuracy, and customer service while minimizing cost.  Drives performance improvement and cost management with data-based analyses and recommendations using quality management techniques.  Assists the Division in achieving its financial and strategic goals by serving as a key member of the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily operations including work flow scheduling, monitoring of productivity and quality, process troubleshooting and all other activities to ensure inventory accuracy on all outbound orders.
  • Provides overall management and coordination of Warehouse activities by serving as the primary coordinating liaison between all Division functions (Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales) to provide exceptional service to customers and efficient operations.
  • Supervises and trains the warehouse coworkers to ensure that warehouse resource allocation safely accomplishes the work required to satisfy customer needs, evaluates performance, provides feedback, and develops warehouse coworkers.
  • Drives Warehouse effectiveness and efficiency improvements with data-based analyses and recommendations using quality management techniques. Develops specific performance objectives and performance measures for warehouse operations.
  • Evaluates and plans the delivery that must occur on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to fulfill the orders placed by customers.
  • Schedules and supervises the receipt of products delivered to the warehouse.

 Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Business is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or logistics
  • Ability to lead, engage, and develop warehouse coworkers
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communications, organization, consulting, resource management, and technology utilization skills.
  • Strong business acumen, with a solid record of leading change and delivering results.
  • High attention to detail, follow-up, multitasking and conflict resolution.
