Among the various industries we recruit for, we are exclusively retained to find an Associate Financial & Transaction Controller for a well-established investment management company, in the northern suburbs of Athens.

The Role

Our client is a fast growing group of companies, with specialization in private residences, providing to its clients with innovative design solutions that are both functional and inspiring. 

An Associate Financial Controller, will manage all current bank loans, while proceeding with the conclusion of new ones in collaboration with his head. Prepare analyses/budgeting models for existing and new projects related to the Group’s investment programs. He/She will be also involved in day to day matters regarding banks, reporting and relevant tasks.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage existing loans and cooperates for this purpose with the respective banks and other lending institutions.
  • Ensures that the company meets its debt-service requirements.
  • Monitor email correspondence and coordinate operations with the finance/accounting department and legal department.
  • Monitor loan agreements and obligations arising from the loan documentation.
  • Provide the banks with the necessary financial data related to the activities of the Group companies, as well as the viability of the relevant investments that will be financed.
  • Prepare feasibility studies and Business Plans related to existing and future investments of the Group companies.
  • Undertake on behalf of the Group the “Know Your Client” or “Know Your Customer” (“KYC”) standards in order to acknowledge customer’s identity, financial profile and investment perspective when requested from Charterers or Suppliers, in order to ensure Group’s risk tolerance and financial position.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in relevant sector ( investment/ audit/ controller/ Finance)
  • Bachelor’s degree in , Accounting or Finance or equivalent
  • Financial modeling knowledge
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in audit assurance will be considered an asset 
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong interpretation ability of data into market insights for the management team
  • Ability to work with financial data
