Among the various industries we recruit for, we are exclusively retained to find an B2B Account Manager (Direct Sales) for one of the leading suppliers of IT equipment and technical support services, located in the western suburbs of Athens.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and goal oriented person who will be a valuable member of a brilliant team, in order to create long-term, trusting relationships with assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

The role reports directly to the Sales Director.

 

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing existing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit
  • Developing new accounts and expanding existing ones
  • Accountable for achieving monthly sales goals 
  • Teamwork with technical,, marketing, logistics, after sales and credit departments 
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas / access to company’s portfolio 
  • Visit customers (B2B clients) onsite
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Create strong relations with clients in order to identify market trends, competitors and grow opportunities within territory
  • Ensure the compliance within the commercial policy
  • Maintain account and opportunity updates within the CRM system to manage client portfolio and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts

 

Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years proven work experience in a similar or relevant role (preferably in IT / Technical sector)
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Excellent ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English language (written and verbal)
  • No traveling required
