Among the various industries we recruit for, Hiring Solutions team exclusively retained to find a a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager on behalf of a client, a company that operates in the food production industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
Oversee warehousing operations, ensuring optimal storage, handling, and distribution of products
Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking
Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, such as lead time, order accuracy, and cost per unit
Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and align supply chain activities with business objectives
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including freight, shipping, and delivery schedules
Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers for best terms
Requirements:
BSc or MSc degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business administration or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a related role (Food Experience desirable)
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems
Experience of WMS system
Fluent in English
Effective communication, negotiation, leadership and team building skills
