Among the various industries we recruit for, we are exclusively retained to find a Sales Engineer based in Thessaloniki

This role offers a dynamic mix of operational learning, client interaction, and technical problem-solving. Over the first year, the Sales Engineer will immerse themselves in operations, understanding clients, offers, support processes, and supplier interactions. This phase will also involve accompanying the Sales Manager on client visits to gain in-depth knowledge of clientele. After the first year, the candidate will independently manage accounts and contribute to business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in comprehensive training to understand the company’s operations, clients, and suppliers.
  • Accompany the Sales Manager on client visits to build rapport and understand client needs
  • Manage customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact after the training period
  • Support business development activities by identifying and pursuing growth opportunities
  • Coordinate the ordering of spare parts and oversee after-sales service matters
  • Contribute to designing and improving process engineering lines for clients
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of similar experience in sales/account management in the food industry
  • Proficiency in English
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems (Softone preferred)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
