Front Office Manager
Ella Resorts is a new collection of eco-chic hospitality properties offering exceptional quality and service excellence. In 2023, Ella Resorts will be operating a portfolio of 6 lifestyle & family resorts on the islands of Rhodes & Corfu.
Position Summary:
The Front Office Manager primarily will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front office team. The ideal candidate will assure guest service standards are being applied consistently while remaining in compliance with all hotel and department policies and procedures.
Scope:
Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy and revenue
Maintains complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
Supervises daily shift processes ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures
Trains, directs the work of front office employees, resolves issues/problems and coaches the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation
Resolves customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service
Allocates rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guests’ preferences and special requests
Prepares and adjusts weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labour forecasts
Conducts pre-shift meetings with associates and review all information pertinent to the day’s business
Conducts department meetings with team to drive associate engagement
Inspects grooming and attire of associates, rectifies any deficiencies
Ensures safety by following guest check in and security procedures
Ensures that standards are maintained at a superior level daily
Prerequisites:
Three or more years working experience in a similar role in the luxury hospitality sector (5* Hotels). Protel experience preferred.
Degree / Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism
Excellent knowledge of English language
A second language (French, German, Russian, or Italian) will be considered as a plus
