Reservations Manager

 

Ella Resorts is a new collection of eco-chic hospitality properties offering exceptional quality and service excellence. In 2023, Ella Resorts will be operating a portfolio of 6 lifestyle & family resorts on the islands of Rhodes & Corfu. 

Position Summary:

A Reservations Manager ensures the smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective and proper reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue in order to meet or exceed the revenue target.

Additionally, he/she supervises General Job Performance of reservation staff, implements policies and procedures under guidance of Sales & Marketing Director, and he is responsible and performs any other duties might requested by Sales Director.

Scope:

  • Has strong experience on Reservation Department & its procedures
  • Responsible for Hotel and Local Reservations and Reservation
  • Handles of correspondences and all guest request
  • Allocates daily tasks to Reservations staff
  • Reviews reservation booked daily
  • Responsible for preparation any forecast requires the management team
  • Responsible for training staff in cooperation with the Human Resources team
  • Responsible for implementation of policies & procedures of the Group Company
  • Responsible for recording Company/Travel Agent Rates both in system and correspondence file
  • Liaises with Sales Department regarding occupancy, Rates Reservation’s Analysis
  • Knowledgeable in hotel and guest room facilities/services and ensures reservations agents are equally knowledgeable.
  • Responsible for various Production reports and supply to each department concerned
  • Ensures special handling of repeats guest and very VIP guest
  • In general, performs any other duties might requested by Front Office Manager or Room Division Manager

 

 Prerequisites:

  • Three or more years working experience in a similar role in the 5-star hotels or high-volume venues
  • Degree / Diploma in tourism or in a relevant field
  • Excellent knowledge of English language, written and spoken in a professional manner
  • A second language (French, German, Russian, or Italian) will be considered as a plus
  • Computer literacy
  • Customer oriented
