Executive Level on behalf of its client, a leading provider in electronics retail sector, is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer.
Cyber Security Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data (firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies)
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and address security weaknesses in systems and applications
Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches or incidents. Conduct forensic analysis to determine the root cause of security incidents and recommend measures to prevent future occurrences
Monitor systems and networks for security breaches or suspicious activity. Analyse security logs and alerts to identify potential security threats and respond accordingly
Participate in the design and implementation of secure network architectures and infrastructure
Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize security risks to the organization
Requirements:
4+ years of work experience in cybersecurity roles, such as security analyst, network engineer, or systems administrator, is often required, preferably in a related industry or sector
Hands-on experience with security technologies, tools, and platforms commonly used in cybersecurity operations, such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, and threat intelligence platforms
Experience managing cybersecurity projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring of security initiatives to achieve organizational objectives
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cybersecurity issues, incidents, and challenges in a timely and effective manner
