About the Role
The Production Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in our manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the production department
Develop and implement production schedules to meet company targets and customer demands
Monitor production processes to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively
Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and comply with food safety regulations
Implement and maintain quality control procedures and protocols
Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve production goals
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products
Monitor and control production costs to stay within budget
Prepare and present production reports to senior management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience as a Production Manager in the food industry
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
