GR. SARANTIS S.A. one of the leading Companies in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sectors with leading brands such as SANITAS, NOXZEMA, BIOTEN, CARROTEN, LANES, AVA, STR8, ORZENE, TUBOFLO, WASH&GO, BIO-OIL, CLINEA, etc.

We are seeking to recruit for the Demand Planning Department a passionate and energetic Demand Planner, who enjoys problem solving, has a can – do attitude, likes business optimization, and wants to be part of a dynamic team.

 

Demand Planner

The role reports to Demand Planning Manager

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develops demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation, as part of the demand planning function
  • Reviews historical sales trends, searches demand drivers, prepares forecast data, develops statistical forecast models, and evaluates forecast results
  • Utilizes a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain necessary inputs and ensures that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
  • Provides input to the Supply Planning team in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
  • Ensures that unconstrained demand forecast is aligned with supply capabilities
  • Functions as the pivotal communication point for availability risks between supply planning and commercial teams
  • Produces relevant reports concerning to demand planning process
  • Supports the Demand Planning Manager in ad-hoc needs

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain or any other equivalent
  • Master’s degree or MBA will be considered as an asset
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a relevant position, preferably in the FMCG sector
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office, with emphasis on Excel
  • Good knowledge of E.R.P systems (ie. SAP). Experience planning software (ie. SAP APO / IBP, Entersoft, Manugistics) will be considered as an asset.
